Ken Wallin is a writer and an avid reader who appreciates stories with unlikely or imperfect heroes, and who believes that along with a taste of adventure, the story should leave the reader with something of value. His fiction has appeared in Writer’s Journal, and his short story “Summerlake” was a Fiction Winner. His tales often reflect his love of the outdoors, nature and wild places.
When not writing or working outdoors, he can be found enjoying the beaches, mountains, and deserts of his native Southern California with Cathy, his wife of over forty happy years.
While his longer works tend to be adventures featuring exotic settings, his short stories encompass a range of genres and styles.
"Fame and fortune are all fine, but it's really just about making people happy. If I can touch just one heart with my writing, I'll know I have done my job."
